In the region

There are now more than 700 palliative care services in Asia and the Pacific.  Some are well developed comprehensive services with inpatient and day care facilities as well as community home care and hospital consultancy.  Others are as yet rudimentary with sparse resources and run by a few dedicated health care professionals and committed volunteers.

In the following pages, we have also compiled stories from around the region.  We always love to hear from our members and would welcome stories, news and developments.  If you have a story to share, or would like to link your eNewsletter to our website, please contact the Secretariat at aphn@aphn.org.
