Volunteers

The success of APHN depends on its members.  Since 2001 more than 1,350 members from 31 countries have been registered with APHN.  We invite you to join the Network as an Individual or Organisational Member.

There are four categories of membership in APHN, they are:

  • Individual members
    Any individual who is actively involved in all or any aspects of hospice palliative care.
  • Ordinary Organisational Members
    Any organisation, corporate or unincorporated, that is resident in any of the sectors* and that has demonstrated a commitment to the practice, education or administration of hospice palliative care.
  • Affiliated Organisational Members
    Any organisation, corporate or unincorporated, that is resident in any of the sectors* and that has an interest in and wishes to be associated with the work of APHN.
  • Honorary Members
    Any individual or organisation which has made a significant contribution to hospice palliative care and which adheres to the objectives and values of APHN may be invited by the Council to be an Honorary Member of the Association.

*A Sector is a geographic region that may include one or more countries, or part of a country. More on membership rights, privileges and others, please refer to the APHN Constitution articles 6 to 9.
